The bill, providing for presumption of consent of every Ukrainian to recuperation of his organs after death, will be discussed by not only physicians, but the public as well, deputy healthcare minister Oleksandr Tolstanov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to him, since Monday, November 26, there will be held panel discussions, involving experts and representatives of the public, to discuss the issue in all regions of Ukraine. The final discussion will be held on December 15 in Kyiv. "Only then there will be changes and correction (of the bill - Ed.)," Tolstanov said.

The official assured that the bill will be submitted  to the Verkhovna Rada only after a thorough revision.

In his view, to introduce a presumption of consent to recuperation of organs after death is very important for Ukraine, as it will allow carrying out complex operations, as it is already done in Russia and Belarus.
