Education and science, youth and sports minister of Ukraine Dmytro Tabachnyk supports the initiative of President Viktor Yanukovych to consolidate rural schools.
Tabachnyk stressed that competitiveness is important for quality school education, that is, classes should have not less than 10-15 students, and there should be many classes.
According to him, when there have been held football championship among students this year, many schools have been not able to recruit a football team of 11 boys aged 12-16 years.
