Justice minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych does not rule out that he can be elected as a speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, he told reporters before the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.
"I am ready to work in government at various positions," Lavrynovych assured.
The minister said that the question of whether he should go to the Parliament or stay in the government has repeatedly discussed with the President.
He added that if he registers as a MP, he will do this closer to the deadline. Answering the question when he intends to apply documents to the CEC for registration as a MP of Ukraine, Lavrynovych said: "I think that if I decide to do this, it will be by the end of the term (of applying for registration - Ed.)"
