Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has instructed chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee Vasyl Tsushko to prepare a draft agreement on free trade area with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, he said at the Cabinet meeting summing up his visit to this country, ForUm correspondent reports.

Azarov reminded that during the visit he held talks with the President, Prime Minister and head of the National Assembly of the Republic, and as a result they signed several agreements.

He also stressed that Vietnam is interested in joint development of hydropower. "Our experience of the pumped storage power of small generation is very important for them," the head of the government said.

In addition, according to the Prime Minister, Ukraine can export to Vietnam grains and poultry and develop cooperation in the military-technical sphere.

Azarov instructed the Ministry of Trade and Economic Development and the Infrastructure Ministry to accelerate negotiations with the relevant Ministries in Vietnam.
