Information, introduced in a biometric passport of citizen of Ukraine, will be outlined by international agreements, President’s representative in the Parliament, MP from the Party of Regions Yuri Miroshnichenko said on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The information, introduced in the passport of the citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad, is a subject of international agreements. The very principle is that passport contains fingerprint data, eye color and any additional information," he said, adding that the rules of its introduction will be approved in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of Ukraine.
Miroshnichenko did not say what kind of biometrics will be included. "Now we are talking about fingerprints, color of the eyes, but in theory even the DNA data can be introduced," Miroshnichenko summed up.
