The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a new law on the introduction of biometric passports with proposals of President Viktor Yanukovych.
243 MPs voted in favor of the law "On the unified state demographic register," ForUm correspondent reports.
The Parliament also took into account the proposals of the President to the law "On amendments to the law of Ukraine "On protection of personal data." 252 MPs supported such decision.
