The Party of Regions has not found its position regarding the bill on taxation of foreign exchange transactions, submitted by the National Bank of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada, head of the Party of Regions parliamentary faction Oleksandr Yefremov said during conciliation board, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Indeed the NBU has submitted a proposal on the15% taxation of foreign exchange transactions. We are studying this issue," he said.
According to him, the bill is now discussed by the appropriate specialists.
"The bill will be discussed at the faction’s meeting of tomorrow," Yefremov summed up.
As reported, the government is considering introducing a 15% tax on the sale of foreign currency and 1% contributions to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
