The Parliament speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn believes that the work of the Verkhovna Rada of the seventh convocation should start with a decision on the personal vote, he told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We have to agree that the Parliament will start working with the personal vote. If a MP is ill or he has other reasons not to vote, then there is nothing wrong," the speaker said.

He reminded that he introduced the corresponding bill that the majority did not support.

"But I think such decision must be adopted and implemented. The current system has fulfilled its resource. No one will make that decision, because no one trusts the Parliament and perceive it as an additional funding of its activities," he predicted.
