In Ukraine, the competition for one job site amounted to 5.7 people in October, the State Statistics Service reported.
According to the report, a number of unemployed citizens registered in the State Employment Service amounted to 420.5 thousand people in October, which is by 12.8 thousand less than in September of 2012.
As a reminder, according to the State Statistics Service, the unemployment rate in Ukraine in October of 2012 decreased by 0.1% to 1.4% compared to September. The number of unemployed numbered 399.9 thousand. In this case, 288.4 thousand people receive unemployment benefits. The average amount of unemployment benefits amounts to 993 UAH.
