Starting from the next year, the Health Ministry will initiate the program "Health-2020: Ukrainian dimension" aimed at improving the health of the population, chief nutritionist of the Health Ministry of Ukraine Oleg Shvets told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the program will be divided into four groups: cardiovascular, cancer, diabetes and chronic diseases of the respiratory system.
Shvets also suggested that due to this program, in 2013 Ukraine may allocate money for the first time in the history on promotion of the healthy lifestyle and its components in the media.
The program is fully formed, and now it is on approval of relevant ministries. We hope that the new Parliament will approve the program this year," he concluded.
