The final report of the ODIHR's election observation mission to the parliamentary elections in Ukraine will be announced approximately in two months, head of mission Audrey Glover said during the meeting with chairman of the Central Election Commission Volodymyr Shapoval, ForUm learned from the CEC press office.
In addition, during the meeting, Glover summed up the work of the ODIHR observation mission. The parties exchanged views on the OSCE/ODIHR third interim report on the post-election period.
Shapoval has once again stressed the importance of international election observers in Ukraine.
Discussing the prospects for future cooperation between the CEC and the OSCE/ODIHR, he said that he hoped for further assistance on the part of this institution, in particular, to improve the electoral legislation in Ukraine.
