The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine recommends the Kyivkhlib bakery company to revise the bread price for "Ukrainian" bread and "Kyivsky" sliced loaf.
"It was established, that the company had overstated the amount of flour and other raw materials for the bread production, which led to the unjustified increase in the total costs and wholesale prices for these products," the ACU statement reads.
The Kyivkhlib bakery company should inform of results of revising the recommendations within ten days of receipt of the recommendations.
The ACU recommended the Kyivkhlib to set prices to levels, which would have been possible under the significant competition in the market.
