Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski discussed the parliamentary elections in Ukraine and the Ukrainian integration with the EU with head of the European Union Council Herman Van Rompuy, the press service of the head of the Polish state reported.

According to Komorowski, the last parliamentary elections confirmed a desire of Ukrainians to join the European Union that unites 27 states.

He said that all the parties that entered the Parliament, except the Communists, support the European integration.

The Polish President also said that the European Union can open a prospect of further approach of Ukraine to the European Union under condition of domestic reforms, including proceedings, prosecutors, criminal processes and all other fields related to the concerned events in Ukraine.
