In Ukraine, starting from January 1, the foreign passports will be issued by the State Migration Service, not the Internal Ministry, chairman of the State Migration Service Mykola Kovalchuk told a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the process of registration and document receipt for the Ukrainians will not change.
"The price (for biometric passport - Ed.) will be reduced and the fee will be partially reduced also," he said.
