Pshonka asks Shapoval to submit information about electoral fraud
Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka addressed сhairman of the Central Election Commission Volodymyr Shapoval with a proposal to submit the materials on electoral process violations to the prosecutor’s office.

"I wrote a letter, addressed to chairman of the Central Election Commission to send materials on violations identified by the CEC or by the district election commissions to the prosecuting authorities," Pshonka told a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.

According to the Prosecutor General, in particular in the letter reads: "In view of the above, I propose to submit to the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine the information and materials of violations of the electoral law in the mentioned (№ 94, 132, 194, 197, 223), and other single-member districts, if these facts took place."

"If the CEC finds violations in these districts and send the relevant materials to us, we will consider them and then either refuse to prosecute or initiate a case, if there are violations," Pshonka said.
Prosecutor General expressed the hope that, together with the CEC, prosecutors "will consider this serious issue."
