Nine criminal cases have been initiated by prosecutor’s offices on violations of electoral law, Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka has told reporters in Kyiv.
"Nine criminal cases have been initiated following requests of citizens. There are criminal charges of bribery of voters (four of five cases have been sent to the court), in one the sentence has already been delivered," the Prosecutor said.
According to the Prosecutor General, prosecutors have received 1.346 complaints, 80% of which have been already sent to the competent authorities. More than 15% of the requests have been submitted to the prosecutor’s offices.
