Ukraine has completed an approval of phytosanitary requirements for corn supply to China. On November 9, 2012, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic signed a corresponding protocol in Beijing, the press service of the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry informed referring to its head Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.

The purpose of this protocol is the approval of phytosanitary requirements for Ukrainian corn exports to China.

He added that the signing of this protocol will allow after the relevant agreements to supply corn to China within a credit of 3 billion dollar on the development of projects in the agricultural sector.

At the same time, Prysyazhnyuk emphasized that the supply of Ukrainian corn will be implemented in accordance with international agreements and contracts signed by private companies.

In the near future, China will be given a list of Ukrainian companies, which are interested in export and meet the phytosanitary requirements of the country.
