Bread price increased in Kyiv

Since November 12, PJSC "Kyivkhlib", the largest Kyiv producer of bread and bakery products has increased the price for bread "Ukrainian" and sliced loaf "Kyivsky" by 17% and 9.7% respectively.
According to the press service of the company, on Monday, the recommended retail price for the "Ukrainian" increased by 0.68 UAH- up to 4.68 UAH.

The recommended retail price for sliced loaf "Kyivsky" increased by 0.34 UAH - to 3.84 UAH.

Earlier the "Kyivkhlib" appealed to the Kyiv city state administration with a proposal to examine the possibility of increasing the price for social kinds of bread. Then the Kyiv authorities responded they did not see the reason for a rise in bread price.

in January-September 2012,PJSC "Kyivkhlib" got a net profit of 12.35 million UAH against net loss of 8.59 million UAH for the same period of 2011. During this period, the gross profit increased by 21.7% - up to 321.74 million UAH, operating profit- by 43.8% to 41.35 million UAH.
