The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine must urgently set the issue on re-elections in a number of problem constituencies, deputy CEC chairman Zhanna Usenko-Chorna told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"In my opinion, the parliament must act urgently and responded to the situation ad hoc, regardless of its calendar plans. The situation in the country requires different reaction, and all MPs must realize their mission and start bringing the country out of the crisis," the official declared.
According to her, CEC has already appealed to the parliament and CEC resolution clearly states that the situation requires legal solution. Commenting on the last two resolution of the parliament, Usenko-Chorna said these decisions are mutually exclusive and inadequate to the current situation.
