A single antimonopoly regulator may appear in antimonopoly policy of the Customs Union, head of the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service Igor Artemyev told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

The official said that "Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus complete their studies for the model code for the three countries, which in the future may become a common Customs Union code."

Artemyev said that the difference between the regulations of the antimonopoly legislation of the CIS countries is negligible, "however Ukraine, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation have the biggest fines on violators of this law within the territory of the former USSR."
