The negotiations with Russia on the modernization of the Black Sea Fleet will be completed by the end of the year, deputy defense minister Oleksandr Oliynyk told a briefing in the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.
"By the end of the year, the process will be finished. The negotiations are still being carried out. And we have a normal effective way ahead," Oliynyk said.
The deputy minister also noted that part of the modernization will be held at the Ukrainian enterprises.
According to him, Ukraine will cooperate with the Ukrainian and Russian military-industrial complex.
