It is legally impossible to nullify the party lists and single-mandate candidates’ lists, head of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

Faction leader said that opposition MPs, calling for early elections, are engaged in self-PR, are irresponsible and too rich.

Commenting on the idea of nullifying the lists of specific parties, Yefremov said that before making such statements, oppositionists should consult with lawyers.

"Ii is an absolutely stupid thing to speak about nullifying lists when you are still not an MP. An MP can step down from office only after taking the oath. Therefore, our colleagues are more engaged in self-PR," the leader of the Party of Regions faction said.

Yefremov also doubts that the single-mandate candidates will support the idea of early elections.
"I doubt that single-mandate candidates, having invested significant money in the campaign, will agree with this," he said.

The faction leader said that the parliamentary elections are very costly to the country's budget and it is irresponsible to spend money on another election.
