Newly elected Parliament may start work on December 10
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn believes that the closest possible date of the plenary session of the new composition of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is December 10, the latest - December 17-19. This opinion, as ForUm correspondent reports, he voiced during the briefing.

The speaker said that the Central Election Commission reviews the voting results until November 12, then it is given five days to appeal against the election results in the Supreme Administrative Court, and another two days are given for the Court's decision.

After that, the newly elected deputies have 20 days to decide whether they go to the Parliament or remain in the same place of work.

After such calculations, Lytvyn got the earliest date of the first meeting of the Parliament’s seventh convocation - December10. At the same time, he does not rule out that the meeting could be held on December 17-19.
