At today's meeting, the Kyiv City Council plans to introduce changes to the program of socio-economic development for 2012 in connection with the receipt 1 billion 65 million UAH from the budget, Halyna Hereha told a briefing,  ForUm correspondent reports.

According to her, these funds will be distributed as follows: 830 million UAH will be spent on the construction of the Podolsky bridge, 150 million UAH - on the construction of the subway to the Odeska Square, 30 million - on the reconstruction of the express tramway to Troyeshchina and 80 million UAH - on the reconstruction of the Poshtova Square.
 
She also noted that "50 million UAH will be used to compensate for reduced fare to certain categories of citizens, 64 million UAH – to pay certain employees of public institutions, 36.8 million UAH – to repay debt of difference in tariffs for heat and water supply," Hereha said.
The state target program on employment of Kyiv 2012-2014 will be also considered at today’s meeting.

According to Hereha, this program provides for creation 60-61 thousands of new jobs annually while maintaining the existing ones and developing businesses - one-time issuance of cash assistance for the unemployed to start their own business.
