The Palats Sportu Kyiv metro station is closed for entry due to malfunction of the escalator, the Kyiv metro press service informs.
"At 2:49 p.m., a sneaker of a passenger got into escalator tape, leading to failure of the escalator. A ribbon of the escalator is currently under renovation," the press service informed.
According to the press service, the repair works are soon to be completed.
