The draft state budget of Ukraine 2013 will be approved by the government in the near future, vice Prime Minister, social policy minister Serhiy Tihipko told a briefing in the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.
"So far the Cabinet has not considered amendments to the budget. I think in the near future, we, as the Social Policy Ministry, will accelerate this process. It’s important for us to get the specific figures, as we work with employers and trade unions. For this we must understand the capabilities of the budget. We will consider it in the near future," the minister promised.
Tihipko also noted that the draft budget 2013 should be passed by the new Parliament.
"This would add the responsibility of power in general. However, if the process of the formation of the new Parliament will be delayed, the current Parliament should do this, as the budget is to be adopted in December, in time," he said.
