Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov considers that a good match of official results of the CEC, exit polls and opinion polls at the parliamentary elections of 2012 prove a fair and democratic will of the citizens, he said during a meeting with U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine John Tefft on Tuesday, the press service of the Cabinet reported.

"The data published on the website of the CEC coincide with the data of exit polls and opinion polls. This is a classic example of free and democratic elections. What kind of fraud can we talk about, if the official data almost completely matched with the exit polls data?" Azarov noted.

He stressed that he carefully study reports, statements and the observers assessments.

Mykola Azarov and John Tefft discussed the further development of bilateral relations.

"We are satisfied with the dynamics of the Ukrainian-American relations at the high level. We are interested in the deepening of our cooperation with the U.S. in the field of democracy, socio-economic and institutional reforms, non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, provision of nuclear safety, attraction of U.S. investment in science and technology and modernization of the energy sector," the Prime Minister said.

He noted that the further development of bilateral political and economic dialogue with the U.S. is one of the priorities of the Ukrainian government.
