The Central Election Commission reminded the system administrators that intentional misrepresentation of the preliminary election results entered in the information-analytical system "Elections" may result in criminal liability.

In particular, deputy chairman of the CEC Andriy Mahera said that the case was recorded when data on the four polling stations at the constituency # 223 (Shevchenkivsky district of Kyiv) entered into information and data analysis system "Elections" did not comply with the protocols of the PECs.
"I'd like to believe that there was an error of the system administrator," Mahera said and recalled that the data should be entered carefully in the information-analytical system "Elections". If there are signs of deliberate distortion of information, the case will be sent to the police, which in turn can initiate criminal proceedings.

Mahera did not comment on the statements of various political parties and candidates of deliberate distortion of the results, but appealed to all those having information about the pressure on district election commissions to inform the CEC of it, so that he in turn goes to the police.
