The Russian Federal Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health Control Service (Rospotrebnadzor) recognized three lots of cheese production of the Mensk Cheese branch of Prometheus cheese plant and 12 lots of cheese produced by Gadyachsyr cheese plant as those that do not comply with the requirements of the federal law "Technical regulations on milk and dairy products."
The report says that the Rospotrebnadzor continues controlling the quality of Ukrainian cheese entering the territory of the Russian Federation.
In particular, the lab "Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology in Moscow" received 714 samples of cheese production of various Ukrainian cheese plants. 665 samples were fully investigated.
As a result, 15 lots of cheese were given expert conclusions about their non-compliance with the law.
In addition, the Rospotrebnadzor noted that the Ukrainian laboratories do not have accreditation required for an independent investigation of cheese exported on the Russian markets.
