Chairman of the Central Election Commission Volodymyr Shapoval suggests that votes will be counted more slowly in western Ukraine because of mountainous area and bad weather.

Responding the question why the votes in the west are counted more slowly than in the east, he said that in the western regions "a significant part of the area is mountainous... Moreover, not very favorable weather conditions were in the region yesterday," Shapoval told journalists, ForUm correspondent reports.
