The parliamentary elections took place in Ukraine, they were transparent and democratic, member of the monitoring mission CIS-EMO Alexei Kochetkov said.
"In our opinion, the elections were transparent. The obtained result reflects a will of the Ukrainian people," he told a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
He noted that the elections did not violate the international standards that define fair and democratic elections. At the same time, he stressed that the mission has a lot of complaints on the quality of elections holding in some regions.
Kochetkov added that this is their pre-trial detention and that a full report of the mission will be ready closer to the afternoon.
