Voting went peacefully in Ukraine, European Parliament deputy says

Deputy of the European Parliament Juan Fernandez Lopez Aguilar noted that the Election Day in Ukraine was generally calm.

"It was a very interesting and long day. We saw people going to vote, we saw the election system in action, we saw a large number of polling stations operating in the normal mode in accordance with the plan," he said.

He noted that there were reports on several incidents, but "nothing serious."

"We had a very peaceful day, and we did not see accidents worth noting. It was a very peaceful day, and all polling stations worked normally," Aguilar stressed.
