The Party of Regions won the parliamentary elections, head of the Party of Regions, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
The Prime Minister stressed that the electoral process passed calmly in the country. "Some violations that took place in such a big country like Ukraine with 34 million voters only prove a high degree of organization," he said.
Azarov also thanked journalists for fair and unbiased coverage of the elections.
