According to him, the exit poll is being carried out by the Rozumkov's center and Kyiv international institute of sociology.

"We expect to interview about 17 thousand voters at 400 voting stations," he said and added there are 2-3 people working at every voting station, and the total number of interviewers is one thousand.

"Statistics error does not exceed 1.3%. Proceeding from previous experience of exit polls, we expect the margin of error at 2.5% maximum for parties and 0.5-1% - for single mandate candidates," Kogut specified.

According to the official, the project follows the method of secret voting, which reduces the number of refusals and increases reliability of the data.

"Instead of the direct question 'who did you vote for' we give a questionnaire for the respondent to fill in. The questionnaire starts with the question about elected party of single-mandate candidate and contains questions about personal data, like age, sex and education," the expert explained.

Summing up, Kogut said the aim of the project is to provide effective public control over transparency of the elections and to get information about social and demographic structure of the electorate.
