CEC won't be able to replace damaged voting papers
The Central Election Commission will not be able to provide new voting papers for districts, which misused the stamp "withdrawn", deputy CEC head Janna Usenko-Chernaya told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We have new cases of misusing the stamp "withdrawn". The cases are not numerous for the moment, but the full scale of this phenomenon we will learn by the end of the day," she said.

The official specified that six voting stations of the 60th district of Donetsk region and 14th district in Lviv actively misused this stamp.

"According to the law, the voting paper with the misused stamp "withdrawn" must be recognized invalid, regardless of what party or single mandate candidate has been marked. In this situation, the victims are not the parties or candidates, illegally withdrawn, but the voters, who have been deprived of the right to vote," CEC representative underlined.

She added that CEC would not be able to provide new voting papers for these districts. "The printing process takes about eight hours, plus delivery. Thus, CEC physically cannot respond to these situations today," Usenko-Chernaya summed up.
