The leader of the All-Ukrainian Union "Freedom" Oleh Tyahnybok has failed to vote at the polling station in Darnytsky district in Kyiv due to lack of a passport of the citizen of Ukraine.

Tyahnybok came to the station at about 11 a.m., spoke with reporters before entering the polling station to vote. However, as it turned out, he was missing the internal Ukrainian passport, which gives the right to vote.

The local election commission did not allow him to vote. Then Tyahnybok said that he intends to return for his passport and come at this polling station again.

"I did not insist, because the law is the law. Somehow I thought that it (Ukrainian passport - Ed.) is in my purse," the leader of the Freedom party said after leaving the polling station.
