Second Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma has voted at the elections to the Verkhovna Rada, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, Ukraine needs stability after the elections. "The economic situation is extremely complicated. It is necessary to make unpopular decisions," the ex-president said.
Kuchma noted that the single-mandate candidates will play significant role in the future Parliament. "Sometimes they will take a position opposite to the one the power that wants," Kuchma said.
In addition, he expressed confidence that Europe will recognize the parliamentary elections in Ukraine. "It will definitely recognize. The world will not say that the elections were not democratic," Kuchma summed up.
