Local authorities will not interfere with the election process on Sunday, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said during the meeting with representatives of official delegations of observers, ForUm correspondent reports.

"President gathered all heads of regional administrations several days ago and strictly demanded that none of the heads of regional, city or district administrations interfere with the election process and let journalists to do their job," Azarov said.

According to the Premier, the government does not have information about any pressure from local administrations. "We have not received information about any facts of pressure on journalists in all regions. Yes, there are separate cases, and they are under investigation," he said and added such cases are single and do not define the whole situation.
