The Emergencies Ministry personnel is on advanced alert duty to respond to emergencies during parliamentary elections. The corresponding order was signed by acting minister of Emergencies Ministry Vitaliy But, the press service of the Ministry informs.

In particular, heads of major regional offices of Emergencies Ministries of Ukraine, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, regions, cities of Kyiv and Sevastopil are instructed to organize the increased monitoring over man-made and natural environment in the areas of responsibility. They are instructed to pay special attention to the objects involved in the preparation and holding of elections.

Each district has a separate fire and rescue unit and reinforced guards formed with the aim of creating a reserve in case of fire and technological safety complications and emergency situations. The mobile power plants are to be ready in case of the need for providing polling stations and other facilities involved in the elections with electricity.
 
According to the order, pyrotechnic teams are on high alert duty to perform tasks when it detects explosive devices. In addition, the order provides for duty of the Emergencies Ministry personnel directly at the polling stations to ensure fire safety.

In general, 8.800 rescuers and more than 2.300 units of equipment are on advanced alert duty. More than 11 thousand Emergencies Ministry employees and two thousand units of equipment are in reserve in case of sharpening of situation.
