The Cabinet of Ministers amended the procedure for the appointment and payment of state social assistance for orphans and children deprived of parental care, cash collateral to foster parents and adoptive parents for the provision of social services in family-type children's homes, the Social Policy Ministry press service informs.
The relevant resolution was adopted at the Cabinet’s meeting of October 24, 2012.
The Social Policy Ministry developed a draft act to implement the National Action Plan for 2012 to implement economic reforms in 2010 - 2014 "The rich society, competitive economy, effective state," approved by the Decree of the President of Ukraine.
The changes include the extension of time for payment assistance to the child till the opening campaign, before the enrollment in high school of I-IV accreditation levels or vocational-technical school.
In addition, the amount of social assistance for children living in family-type children's homes and foster families, the amount of state social assistance to disabled from childhood and disabled children will not decrease.
