Ukrainian foreign minister Kostyantyn Hryshchenko assured international observers that the parliamentary elections in Ukraine will be fair and transparent.
"The elections will be fair, transparent and will be held in full compliance with the law," Hryshchenko said at the meeting with international observers in Kyiv.
The minister said that Ukraine is aware of the fact that the elections are considered as a test for democracy and compliance with high standards. "I believe that we will pass it successfully," Hryshchenko said.
He added that Ukraine is interested in the fact that the international community is convinced that the elections in Ukraine are legitimate.
