The government has created all necessary conditions for the successful holding of elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said during the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will be held on Sunday, October 28. I wish to state with pleasure that the government has created the necessary basis and technical conditions for holding free and democratic elections," Azarov said.
At the same time, he said, the government has been addressing the urgent issues.
"I sincerely wish the men of action to be elected in single-mandate constituencies. I believe that it will be so. The government has done everything possible for parliamentary elections to be held in the most open and transparent way and seamlessly to the political forces and the voters," the Prime Minister said.
