Ukraine should find a common ground with Russia, deputy Prime Minister, social policy minister Serhiy Tihipko said during the International Forum "Ukraine: development project," ForUm correspondent reports.

According to the official, a major breakthrough in bilateral relations has not been achieved yet, but at the same time, the progress is noticeable.

"It is very good that we have ratified a free trade area with the CIS, as this simplifies the work in this market and creates new opportunities. Do not forget that the economy in Russia is growing and will grow in the coming years. And we continue to assume a "three-plus-one" format in cooperation with the Customs Union," the deputy Prime Minister stressed.

At the same time, he added that the FTA with the EU remains an integration priority for Ukraine.

As a reminder, the Customs Union includes Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
