Ukraine and Russia together will celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin told a press conference after talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovych in Moscow.
In particular, the Russian President said that Ukraine and Russia will hold another major project in the future.
"The 200th anniversary of the birth of the great poet Taras Shevchenko in 2014 is one more important joint project for our countries. We have agreed with Mr Yanukovych to give instructions to the governments to start working together on a comprehensive preparation for this significant anniversary," Putin said.
