Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych stands for deepening cooperation between Ukraine and the Customs Union.
"We do not change our point of view, we stand for deepening cooperation with the Customs Union," Yanukovych has said at the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novo-Ogaryovo residence in Moscow.
He believes that the deepening of the relationship will positively influence the development of the Ukrainian economy.
In turn, Putin noted that the entry into this or that international organization is an internal affair of the country. At the same time, he stressed that the deepening of cooperation between Ukraine and Russia will benefit both countries.
He also drew Yanukovych’s attention to the fact that the Russian market is certainly a priority for a number of Ukrainian goods.
Among other things, Putin called agricultural products, as well as products related to aviation technology.
