Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko said that Kyiv and Moscow will approve a mutually acceptable decision on the delimitation of the maritime border and Kerch Strait soon.

"I think that in the near future we will achieve a mutually acceptable agreement and present it to the governments of both countries," Hryschenko said at a briefing following a meeting with Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

Hryschenko said that both countries have taken a significant step forward in the settlement of the problem.

"It's hard to say what share of the problem we've solved and how many issues remain unsettled," he said.

The minister praised the fact that the sides have managed to reach mutual agreement on the most important aspects and today, according to him, some issues of wider formats are to be considered with experts.
