Two documents may be signed during the visit of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych in Moscow on October 22, foreign minister of Ukraine Kostyantyn Hryshchenko told a joint press conference with Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov.

"We have prepared two agreement for signature," Hryshchenko said.

According to him, the range of issues to be discussed by two presidents in Moscow will be "sufficiently large". "The gas issues are likely to be discussed as well," he said.

According to Hryshchenko, Ukraine and Russia have a number of "big projects" already been discussed and reached a high level of agreement, but they require final approval by the leadership of the two countries.

"So this working visit will be a full discussion of all the main topics on the agenda of bilateral relations," he said.

In turn, Lavrov mentioned that when the Presidents meet, they consider the whole range of bilateral cooperation, the issues requiring further impetus for the competent authorities of the two countries to find a solution and long-term issues of deepening cooperation.

Lavrov said he had discussed with Ukrainian foreign minister Hryshchenko the strengthening of bilateral cultural ties and establishing a more active work of the Slavic Cultures Forum, which Ukraine and Russia are actively involved in.
