Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych is sure that the effective modernization of domestic steel enterprises is an important part of the future economic growth of the state, he told media in Donetsk region, the press service of the head of state reported.
"Metallurgy industry is a foundation of the Ukrainian economy. The success of our state will depend on its development," he said. According to him, the introduction of new technologies and modernization of enterprises will enhance their competitiveness.
"Step by step, we will modernize our country, raise the competitiveness of our economy and create new jobs," Yanukovych stressed.
