The National Bank of Ukraine asks to consider providing credit support to economic development priority projects of Ukraine. "The National Bank of Ukraine within the existing legislation is ready to consider any constructive suggestions of the banks on supporting priority projects," the official letter of the NBU says.
This letter is a response to the Cabinet’s letter, in which the government asked the NBU for "contribution of the National Bank to provide loans to the real sector of the economy in the necessary amounts for the implementation of economic development priority projects."
In particular, these are the projects, which pre-feasibility studies are already completed:
- "Olympic Hope - 2022" - creation of sport and tourist infrastructure;
- "Open World" - creation of information and communication network of the national educational level based on 4G radio technology;
- "Clean City" - a system of processing solid waste;
- "Terminal LNG» - marine terminal for liquefied natural gas.
