The National Bank of Ukraine together with domestic banks should develop a credit program of the real sector of the economy, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said at the meeting of the Committee on Economic Reforms on Wednesday.
The President noted that the financial system plays a crucial role in the development of national economy. "I hope that the NBU with Ukrainian banks will propose a credit program to develop our country," he said.
Yanukovych also named the infrastructure development as an important part of the economic growth of Ukraine. The successful holding of the final of Euro-2012 gave an impulse not only to the infrastructure development in Ukraine, but also to the growth of the national economy.
